DURHAM, N.C. — Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe and his staff announced Wednesday that 18 student-athletes have signed national letters of intent to join the Blue Devil gridiron program.
 
The class includes four defensive backs, three defensive linemen, two quarterbacks, two running backs, two linebackers, two offensive linemen, two athletes and one wide receiver.
 
A total of 10 states are represented in the group with four signees from Georgia and North Carolina, two from Alabama and Texas, and one from Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
 
The Signing Class of 2021 consists of: Cameron Bergeron (DB | Albany, Ga.), Trent Broadnax (ATH | Benedictine Military School), Trey Brown III (DL | Phoenix, Ala.), Trent Davis (RB | Attalla, Ala.), Placide Djungu-Sungu (DB | Arlington, Texas), Tré Freeman (LB | Durham, N.C.), Sahmir Hagans (WR | Philadelphia, Pa.), Aaron Hall (DL | Durham, N.C.), Brandon Johnson (DB | Newton, N.C.), Andrew Jones (OL | Pfafftown, N.C.), Riley Leonard (QB | Fairhope, Ala.), Dylan Merrell (DB | Alpharetta, Ga.), Jaquez Moore (RB | Live Oak, Fla.), Jordan Moore (QB | Sykesville, Md.), Nick Morris Jr. (LB | Austin, Texas), Joshua Pickett (ATH | Demorest, Ga.), Justin Pickett (OL | Carmel, Ind.), and Mandela Tobin (DL | San Diego, Calif.)
 
Freeman, Hall, Johnson, Jordan Moore, Morris Jr., and Joshua Pickett are expected to enroll at Duke in January, 2021.
