The FBI released a statement to Channel 9 on Wednesday, saying: “While the FBI cannot comment on specific intelligence products, our standard practice is to gather information to identify potential threats and share that information with our law enforcement partners. The information included in intelligence products can come from a variety of sources, including tips. Each tip is taken seriously and thoroughly investigated and if substantiated, acted upon immediately.”
