It’s time for another Pokémon GO Community Day, and this time, our featured Pokémon is Oshawott, from the Unova region. It’s a water type that evolves into Dewott and then Samurott, and it’s time to get one with a special move and increased shiny chance.
Date and Time
That would be tomorrow, Sunday September 19, and it runs from 11 AM to 5 PM local time.
Special Move
If you evolve it to Samurott, the special move will be Hydro Cannon this time around, which must be done during the six hour event. Samurott will also be able to be taught Razor Shell, which will continue even after the event is over.
Bonuses
For this Community Day, there will be 3x catch XP, 3 hour incense and 3 hour lure modules.
Community Day Bundle
For 1280 coins, you can pick up a bundle that includes 50x Ultra Balls, 5x XP eggs, 5x rainy lure modules, 1x Elite Fast TM
Special Research
The research task this time will be called From Scalchops to Seamitars, get you a rain lure module and more chances at catching Oshawott. This costs a dollar.
Shiny
The color change is pretty noticeable on shiny Oshawott, Dwott and Samurott, so you’ll want to be sure to add them to your collection. The observed rate for shinies during Community Days is usually around 1 in 25.
So, that’s pretty much all you need to know about Oshawott Community Day, which kicks off tomorrow and should be a lot of fun, as ever.
