We are set for maybe the best weather of the long holiday weekend this Labor Day Monday. After a cooler morning with lows in the mid-to-upper 50s under mostly clear skies, temperatures will reach near 80 degrees by late afternoon. High pressure will keep skies clear and sunny and conditions dry, making for a great day to spend outdoors celebrating the unofficial end to summer. Good news, however, as this beautiful weather will continue beyond Labor Day for several days to follow this work week.
The only real chance of rain over the next seven days will arrive late in the day Tuesday. Highs will first reach the low-to-mid 80s as clouds increase through the morning and early afternoon. Late Tuesday a front will push through, bringing at times heavy rain and possible thunderstorms.
