CHICAGO - DePaul women's soccer hosts Eastern Illinois on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. for Alumni Day. The Blue Demons (2-5) are looking to snap a four-match losing streak in the non-conference finale on Saturday. Alums in attendance are encouraged to attend a special reception held under the 'L' tracks starting at 1:00. Alums can receive up to five complimentary tickets by submitting their RSVP here.
The Blue Demons and Panthers matchup for the eighth time in program history and for the first time since 2006. DePaul and Eastern Michigan battled to a 1-1 draw in the last meeting. Following the non-conference match, the Blue Demons open the BIG EAST schedule with a matchup on the road versus St. John's on Sunday, Sept. 26.
NON-CONFERENCE TESTS
DePaul has been held scoreless against four quality non-conference opponents over the last three weeks. Milwaukee, Michigan, Loyola and Northwestern have combined to post an overall record of 19-6-2 during the early stretch of the 2021 season. Michigan, who topped DePaul 1-0 on Sept. 5, is ranked no. 21 in the nation.

Graduate student Morgan Turner has led the Blue Demon offense this fall, tallying a team-high three goals. Turner has 25 career goals as a Blue Demon and is two goals away from cracking into the top five all-time list in DePaul women's soccer history. Turner scored twice in DePaul's last victory, a 3-1 win over UIC back on Aug. 29. Turner was named to the All-BIG EAST second team following the 2020-21 campaign. Turner earned first-team honors following a 10-goal output in the Blue Demons' last full season in 2019.
PANTHER NOTES
- The Panthers hold a 2-4-1 record so far this fall and have lost two straight matches.
- Eastern Illinois defeated Chicago opponent Chicago State, 1-0 on Sept. 3.
- The Panthers have posted a 0-2-1 record on the road so far this season.
- Head coach Jake Plant is entering his fourth season at the helm of the Panthers program.
