Plums County residents turned out to help Greenville celebrate Veterans Day with its annual parade. Chester resident and Boy Scout leader Gregg Scott, who also reports for Plumas News, attended the event with his troop and shared these photos from the event.
This group photo of the veterans from all the different units along with Chester Boy Scout Troop 36 from Chester was taken at the finale of the parade just before they all relocated near the Evergreen Market for lunch. The parade drew support and entrees from many locations in the county. Floats, Fire Engines, K-9’s, 4-H units and even a fishing boat from the Almanor Fishing Association.
