DATES TO REMEMBER

• Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
• The deadline to register online to vote is Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
• The deadline for registering by mail to vote is (postmarked by) Monday, October 5, 2020.
• The deadline to register in person to vote is Monday, October 5, 2020.
• The deadline to request a ballot by mail is (received by) Friday, October 30, 2020.
• The early voting period runs from Tuesday, October 20, 2020 to Tuesday, October 27, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.

The Louisiana Secretary of State's office provides very helpful voting information for Louisiana residents on its website, www.geauxvote.com.

We also suggest that you download the GeauxVote mobile phone app, which is very user-friendly and provides voter registration information, voting locations, sample ballots and voter district information.

For those of you who may have established residency outside of Louisiana, the Vote.gov web site is a tremendous tool to assist you in finding registration information and voting instructions for each state in the U.S.
