TROY, N.Y. - Periodically throughout the fall semester, we will feature past stories that occurred on specific days from recent years. Today we remember a pair of wins by the football team, including a triple overtime thriller that helped propel the Engineers to eventually reach the NCAA Playoffs Quarterfinals, a sweep by women's tennis and a clean sheet from men's soccer, which went on to win 14 games, including a victory in the NCAA Tournament.
