To the Editor:
I am writing to express my extreme anger and disgust that 3 of my political signs (2 custom signs and one Trump-Pence sign) have been stolen from 3 main streets in Chatham. I have made police reports. One sign lasted 36 hours before being taken on the corner of Southern and Fairmont. Another custom sign lasted 4-5 days on the corner of Green Village and Southern, right in front of the Exxon station and a third lasted about THREE hours on Saturday evening/night before being stolen.
I have also noticed another Trump-Pence sign that was on the corner of Lafayette and Southern that was put up was gone after about 10 hours and another lasted another 8 hours that said "Save Babies Vote Republican." It sickens me that there are people who are so intolerant that they cannot leave what is not theirs alone.
The Left is on a rage. The Chatham Township Detective assigned to my complaint said there was a black car that pulled up in front of Exxon and took that sign, still being investigated. I would appreciate any help from the public identifying those who took my signs.
Freedom is not free if our First Amendment is squelched.
