MADISON (WKOW) - Sunday started off foggy, with the whole region experiencing visibility issues due to freezing fog forming overnight.

A Dense Fog Advisory was issued for: Dane, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Green and Rock counties until 10 a.m. Sunday.

Frost formation from freezing fog could bring slippery spots on roads.

Expect winds to pick up throughout the day. Breeziest conditions are expected late-afternoon into the evening with sustained winds around 20 mph, gusts up to 30 and a northwesterly flow.

There's a chance for light rain/mix, Dane county mainly north before noon.

The week ahead will be very quiet, with mostly to partly sunny skies.

Temperatures will dip to seasonal values Monday. Highs return to very mild values for the rest of the week, with numbers in the mid-to-upper 40s.
