West Brom win race for Maitland-Niles
Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been linked with a loan from Arsenal to several other Premier League clubs, with the reported sticking point being the youngster's determination to play primarily in midfield and not as a wing-back. It looks like WBA are the team who will accomodate him in his preferred position, as multiple sources claim he is set to complete a deal in the next couple of hours.

Aston Villa have allowed goalkeeper Orjan Nyland to head to Norwich on a free, while Wolves have released Roderick Miranda to join Gaziantep of Turkey.

Moises Caicedo has signed from Ecuadorean club Independiente del Valle for £4.5 million.

Transfer deadlines
In La Liga and the Premier League, the window closes at 23:00 GMT, in Serie A the deadline is 19:00 and in the Bundesliga it is 17:00. So, a shade over an hour left for German sides while the other major European entities have longer.
