
The Cumberland County Council of Educational Associations’ Minority Leadership and Recruitment committee will sponsor a “Freedom Ride and Walk” 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 18, starting at Bridgeton High School and concluding at Sunset Lake.
Bill as a pre-Juneteenth celebration, the outing will begin with a 3-mile Freedom Parade “through the path of Harriet Tubman,” culminating at the Sunset Lake amphitheater with festivities, vendors and refreshments. It will be held rain or shine.
