BARRINGTON – After 20-plus years in business, Freedom Home Care, a leading home care and medical staffing agency in the North Shore and throughout the Chicago area, announced the opening of a new location in Barrington at 836 S. Northwest Highway.
“We have been servicing many clients in Barrington over the years from our Highland Park and Lake Forest offices,” said Sharon Burack, who founded Freedom Home Care more than 23 years ago after 38 years in the rehabilitation industry working with seniors in occupational, physical and speech therapy, as well as nutritional and mental well-being. “After researching the area, we found it was underserved and there was a need for available quality care, so we are opening our Barrington location to give back to the community that has been so great to us.”
Freedom Home Care’s newly remodeled space will offer families and their loved ones a homelike environment to meet with staff and discuss their needs. The new Barrington facility will service the northern suburbs from Barrington, Deer Park, Lake Zurich and Kildeer to Grayslake, Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Naperville, Hinsdale and all surrounding suburbs.
“Our new location will offer even more peace of mind to the 40-, 50- and 60-year-old generations who are taking care of their 70-, 80- and 90-year-old family members,” Burack said. “We want to cater to their needs and have the option to come into our location for in-person meetings, whether it’s to meet their caregivers or collaborate on their loved one’s needs.”
Freedom Home Care services range from full-time, live-in care to flexible hourly assistance and daily visits for meal preparation, personal care, companionship and other needs to post-hospital care, day surgery companion care and supportive care. They also host wellness programs throughout the North Shore in conjunction with The Highland Park Senior Center, Lake Forest Senior Center and The Sheridan at Green Oaks.
