FREEDOM – One person was injured Saturday after a power glider hit a power line in Outagamie County and knocked out power in the area.
Deputies responded around 8 p.m. to Weyers Road in the town of Freedom for a power glider that hit a power line and crashed in a field, according to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said a Freedom man was driving the power glider with a Freedom woman as a passenger. The man wasn’t injured, but the woman was taken to a local hospital for injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
The crash knocked out power in the immediate area, but it has since been restored, according to We Energies’ outage map.
