Groton — For one Norwich family, Wednesday wasn't too cold for an outing to the beach.
Cecilia Thomas, 4, was spending time with her grandmother and grandfather Diane and Dean Allard, all of Norwich, at Eastern Point Beach.
The Allards said they were at the beach because they had cabin fever and wanted to spend some time out of the house and to also let Cecilia burn off some energy. After the beach they planned on driving over to the Groton-New London Airport to watch planes take off.
