Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley underwent an MRI on Thursday morning that revealed a mild right hamstring strain, the team announced.

Conley will be reevaluated before Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the winner of the LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks series.

Conley left the top-seeded Jazz's series-ending Game 5 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the second quarter after experiencing right hamstring soreness. He did not return to Wednesday's game.

Conley, 33, an All-Star for the first time this season, has dealt with hamstring issues on multiple occasions during his two seasons in Utah. Most recently, he was sidelined for nine games in late April and May due to tightness in his right hamstring.

Conley averaged 17.4 points and 8.6 assists per game in the first round against his former team, the Grizzlies. He averaged 16.2 points and 6.0 assists per game during the regular season, when Conley ranked second in the NBA in overall plus-minus behind only teammate Rudy Gobert.
