FREMONT - Though Memorial Day is an off day for most workers, many people used the holiday to honor fallen soldiers in Gibsonburg and Fremont.
The Sandusky County Killed-in-Action Float drove around Fremont, making stops along the way to allow locals to view the names of Sandusky County residents who were killed during battle.
Visitors also took advantage of the warm weather, visiting the Remembrance Wall at Gibsonburg's Williams Park.
