Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10 — and typically in the Bay Area it would be a day when brunch, lunch, and dinner destinations are packed to the gills. Not this year, as you of course know. Instead, local spots have found other ways to help folks who want to celebrate their matriarchs do so at home. Here’s a guide to some of the best Mother’s Day specials we’ve seen.

7 Mile House Sports Bar & Grill: This Bayshore Filipino bar might not be the first place you think of when you think of your mom, but this year they’re offering their homemade ube cheesecakes by the whole pie, 1/2 pie, or slice. Act fast to preorder the cheesecakes, also available in other tropical flavors like calamansi lime (a Philippine citrus) or mango, by Friday, and pick your pie up on Sunday.

Canela: Mat Schuster, the chef at the Market Street tapas spot, has put together a Mother’s Day brunch spread that runs $49 per person. The menu includes stuff like French toast souffle and potato gratin, and they even throw in coffee or tea. You have until May 8 to preorder here, and for an extra $15 you can have the brunch set delivered in SF, or even sent to a friend.

Gap Year at Nico: Chef Jordan Guevara’s year-long residency at longstanding SF restaurant Nico has certainly been thrown for a loop, but they’re still in the game with a wild-sounding Mother’s Day brunch kit with add-ons like a $110 caviar service. Order here, and be ready to pick it all up on Saturday night.

Kahnfections: The Mission district bakery has a Mother’s Day brunch box of quiche, assorted pastries, and jam for $50, with free delivery in SF. Order here, but when it’s gone, it’s gone, so move swiftly.

Mina Family Kitchen: There’s a two person minimum for Mina’s $75/person Mother’s Day menu, which offers a vast amount of food and — for the high roller — a $275 Osetra caviar add-on to its “bagel bar.” Order via email at orders@minafamilykitchen.com or call 415-722-2138. Your deadline is Thursday at 5 p.m.

Miss Ollie’s: This East Bay 38 perennial offers a Mother’s Day gift box for $150 that includes mimosa fixings, flowers, and enough Afro-Caribbean food to feed 4–6 folks. You can pick it up on Mother’s Day; delivery in Oakland is an extra $20.

Perbacco: For $40 per person, Perbacco’s family-style Mother’s Day situation includes mac and cheese, asparagus frittata, and loads more. Pre-order by May 7 at 5 p.m. here. Pickup is available Sunday as is delivery via Caviar, as long as you pre-order by Friday at noon.

Pier 23 Restaurant and Bar: Does Pier 23 taste as good when you’re not in its dining room, looking out at the Bay? This is apparently your year to find out, as they’re doing a Mother’s Day caviar kit for $150 that includes one ounce of California white sturgeon caviar, fixings like chopped hardboiled egg yolk and whites, red onion, parsley, lemon, and crostini, and a a bottle of bottle of Schramsberg Blanc De Blancs. Call 415-362-5125 or email mac@pier23cafe.com to order.

Zazie: The Cole Valley brunch fave has long waits most Mother’s Days, but this year any delays are on you: Zazie has a build-your-own Zazie brunch kit that even comes with a 25th anniversary coffee mug. Order the two-person kit ($45) here, or the four-seater here ($85).
