Montclair Township held its annual Memorial Day tribute Monday in Edgemont Memorial Park.
The memorial at Edgemont, created in 1925 by Charles Keck, was built to honor the 69 young men Montclair lost during World War I. Since its original creation, monuments honoring soldiers who died in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War have been placed on the island.
