Portland State Football has signed three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.
The Vikings have added Tanner Beaman, a tight end/linebacker from Vancouver's Skyview High School; Braylon Cornell, an offensive lineman from West Linn High School; and Bryson Summers, an offensive lineman from Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, CA.
Beaman was named 1st team All-Greater St. Helen's League as a linebacker and a tight end. Cornell was a two-time All-Three Rivers League selection. Summers was named second team All-League as a senior.
"Tanner has the ability to play on both sides of the football, but we expect him to add to our tight end group. He's versatile, both a 'mudder' and a 'catcher' at the position." said Viking Coach Bruce Barnum.
"Braylon and Bryson will help our offensive line depth and development in the coming year. We hope to add about five on the line this year, and to get two of their caliber early is a testament to the recruiting job by our coaching staff."
Portland State will sign several more during National Letter of Intent Day on Feb. 2. The Vikings had 14 seniors complete their eligibility during the 2021 season.
