New Year’s Eve Dine-In & To-Go Options in Houston
- The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation & Uptown – Chef Alex Padilla is serving up seafood paella throughout the New Year’s celebrations. The delicious, fresh dish serves 4 to 5 people and runs $125. You can dive in all day long, or take some to-go for New Year’s Eve. 10am to 11pm.
- Liberty Kitchen Oysterette in Memorial & River Oaks – Both locations of the fresh seafood purveyors are doling out a three-course New Year’s Eve menu that features choices like lobster bisque, filet mignon with jumbo shrimp, and red velvet cheesecake, plus wine pairings. $125 per person. 11am to 11pm.
- Backstreet Cafe in River Oaks – Chef Hugo Ortega’s bistro in River Oaks features a New Year’s Eve dinner menu with offerings like Gulf Coast beignets, butternut squash salads, and duck confit. Reservations end at 11pm, but you can stick around for a champagne toast at midnight. $79 per person (plus tax and gratuity). 5pm.
- B&B Butchers & Restaurant on Washington Avenue – Head to B&B Butcher’s & Restaurant on Washington Ave for a festive New Year’s evening of food, drinks, party favors and 2022 swag. Live music will also grace the downstairs stage, with DJs spinning tunes on the upstairs patio. Reservations required. 5pm.
- Brennan’s In Midtown – The iconic Houston eatery toasts to the 2022 with a special, Creole-inspired menu. Reservations are required, and must be placed by calling 713-522-9711. 5pm to close.
- The Annie Café & Bar in Uptown – Make your way to the Annie Café & Bar on Post Oak Blvd for an evening of delicious food, specialty cocktails, 2022 swag, and live music. Reservations required. 5pm.
- Roots Wine Bar in East End – Close out 2021 in style with a five-course tasting menu, wine pairing, DJ music and a spectacular drag show. Then, stick around for the complimentary champagne toast at midnight. $150 per person. 7pm to close.
- B.B. Lemon on Washington Avenue – The Washington Ave eatery hosts an all-day, laid back New Year’s Eve with a choice of lunch or dinner service, party favors, cocktails and DJ music in the evening ahead of midnight. Reservations recommended. NYE party starts at 8pm.
- Trez Art & Wine Bar near Washington Avenue – Celebrate the New Year with a four-course chef’s tasting, cocktails, and live music benefitting The Cynthia A. Guillory Foundation at Trez Art and Wine Bar. $95. 8pm.
- Hugo’s in Montrose – Count down to the new year with a four-course menu featuring options like fresh ceviche, slow-roasted pork tamales, pan-seared scallops with sweet cornbread, and tasty desserts. Live music will provide the vibes and guests will have a complimentary sparkling wine toast at midnight. $72 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Last reservations at 10pm.
New Year’s Day Dine-In & To-Go Options in Houston
- The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation & Uptown – Both locations of the Tex-Mex eatery will have the ultimate hangover cure ready for you on New Year’s Day, featuring a bowl of red chile pork posole for $14. 10am to 10pm.
- Rainbow Lodge in Shady Acres – The longtime Houston staple features an a la carte brunch on New Year’s Day with Gulf Coast–inspired favorites like smoked duck gumbo and braised bison short rib benedict, plus black eyed peas to kick off the new year. 10:30am to 3pm.
- B.B. Lemon on Washington Avenue – Recover from your New Year’s night with brunch, cocktails, and tunes on the patio by DJ Fredster at B.B. Lemon. Reservations recommended. 11am.
- B&B Butchers & Restaurant on Washington Avenue – The annual New Year’s Day Hangover Cure Brunch returns with live music on the rooftop patio and decadent brunch dishes including a black-eyed peas and greens special, as well as specialty cocktails. Reservations required. 11am to 3pm.
