We're onto a streak of sunshine and a streak of 40s. Now that we're 3 days into Meteorological spring we're gaining roughly 3 minutes of daylight every day.
Sunrise times are close to 6:40 am and will get as early as 6:20 am before we spring ahead in two weeks. Sunday March 14th at 2 am Daylight Saving Time begins. Sunrises will be after 7:20 am to start, but sunsets will be closer to 7:20 pm and getting later thereafter.
As far as the forecast goes, it will be partly cloudy Wednesday with slightly colder high temperatures. They'll remain in the low 40s, but we'll get much less wind and a few extra clouds in the mix.
Another round of patchy fog will be possible overnight with lows in the 20s again before we basically repeat the forecast for Thursday. Mid to upper 40s return for Friday with more sunshine than anything else.
We've been on a pretty good streak of sunshine with the only day lacking any being last Sunday when we had a bit of snow. We'll keep this streak alive until some rain chances come in early next week.
50s roll in for the weekend and most of next week. The temperature and precipitation trends both ramp up heading into the second week of March.
