Travel delays are expected Friday night into Saturday morning for travelers in Cranberry Township.

According to PennDOT, a portion of Freedom Road will be closed between Commonwealth Drive and Executive Drive from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

The closure is needed in order to allow crews to install a drainage cross pipe.

Detours will be put in place from Route 19 northbound to Cranberry Square Drive, Route 228 onto Route 19 North, Route 19 South to Thorn Hill Road, and Freedom Road eastbound to Commonwealth Drive.
