In the first match of the day, sophomores Kristina Novak and Maja Makoric defeated Hesham/Mintusova of SLU 8-2 in doubles play. Later in the day, Novak defeated Jordan Schifano from SIUE 6-2, 6-1 in singles, while Makoric also won her first singles match against Maja Gledic of UCA 6-3,6-2.
Freshman Jillian Roa competed in two singles matches today, falling short to Norham Hesham of SLU 3-6, 2-6, but went on to defeat SLU's Elizabeth Mintusova 6-3, 6-0 in the consolation draw.
The last two single matches of the day were played by sophomores Chloe Kuckelman and Isabel Adrover Gallego. Kuckelman faced Morgan Cross in a tough 4-6, 2-6 loss, while Adrover Gallego defeated Anna Turco from Kansas State 6-1, 7-5.
