CLEARFIELD – In John 8:32, Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
This promise is the slogan for Freedom in Christ, a weekly, faith-based addiction recovery group of the Jubilee Christian Center.
The group meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 1210 Graham St., Clearfield (next to the Hyde Fire Hall). Dinner and childcare are provided.
According to RU Recovery Ministries, addiction affects 1 in 4 people regardless of age, gender, nationality or status.
The desire of RU/Freedom in Christ is to take the “Truth that makes free” to every man, woman and child to “break the chains and cycle of addiction.
This group will always welcome you into its close-knit family with loving and compassionate arms.
Additionally, utilizing RU curriculum and materials, it will equip you with the tools necessary to experience recovery without relapse.
On Tuesday, March 30, the group will hold an open house event, with a movie and pizza, at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
